Daily Duties at Commissioners Of Caroline County, Md:
Duties Leading the Information Technologies team in the day-to-day operations and functionality of application servers, local, and wide area network connectivity for Caroline County, State of Maryland, Caroline County Board of Education, Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, and several not for profit organizations; which utilize Caroline County infrastructure for Voice and Data communications. This team is fully self-sufficient performing all necessary engineering, installation, and management tasks supporting all network systems. Responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and security of all network and application systems utilizing a hybrid, secure, multiple protocol network environment. Develop and manage the long-term technical plan and strategy for Caroline County. Responsible for the training of all employees on multiple applications and security practices. Offer consulting to all Department Heads and Managers on system and application functionality, planning, and budget; including RFP development and vendor selection per county purchasing guidelines and ordinances. Work with all Department Heads and Managers to find value in ERP, CRM, and BI applications and processes to maintain service levels while budgets decline. Develop and manage the Department of Information Technologies fiscal year budget.
