Daily Duties at Prince George's County Public Schools :
Responsibilities: Assisted in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs. Assumed the responsibility of specific areas assigned by the principal. Translated the vision of the principal into the culture of the school and other subordinate administrative personnel. Helped to developed administrative and management practices which promoted efficient and effective operation of the school. Participated in a variety of student activities, collaborated with special services personnel, assisted in the maintenance of standards concerning student discipline, health safety and general welfare. Tasked with variety of administrative responsibilities including student transportation, maintenance of building and facilities, cafeteria operations and after hours use of facility. Assisted in the development of in-service training programs. Counseled teachers on instructional, professional and administrative matters. Assumed the responsibility for the operations the school in the absence of the principal.
