Daily Duties at Du Pont:

Provided day to day technical support for manufacturing at a heavily regulated facility. Support included semi-finished product dispositioning, examination of high speed camera images and shift checksheets, troubleshooting, equipment calibration, participation in production and maintenance scheduling, and setting operating conditions and recipes.

What they like about Du Pont:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.

Climbers who worked at Du Pont had these interests:

Books
History Books I enjoy reading history. I try to learn from the examples of others.
Biography I want to learn from the experiences and perspectives of others. This helps me to consider a wider range of methods to deal with coworkers, managers, and subordinates. People skills are just as important as engineering skills, maybe more so.
Websites
Fox News

I want to be aware of current issues (world affairs, changes in national culture, new vocabulary, new laws and regulations, new trends in general).
