Daily Duties at Thermospas:
Responsible for all aspects of 3d Cad Design / Documentation, Cad Database Management (Solid Works 07 and AutoCad), and Product Development. * Co-designer of the “Spa Trainer” and “Spa Swimmer” swim-spas, responsible for concept development using 3d model geometry to generate NC generated components for prototype parts evaluation. Creation of design detail drawings of thermoformed acrylic shell (spa body), and metal frame weldments for manufacturability. Responsible for first-article inspection and approval, assembly documentation and support, and product development / improvement. * Designed, developed, prototyped, built, and installed the new Rowing Machine option. Responsible for all phases of prototype and final article creation including material selection, cost considerations, usability (ergonomic and safety), ease of assembly, and installation. Created all technical graphics and documentation for Owners Manuals, Service Manuals, and Marketing materials. * Created 3d Animations for Thermospas newest 30 minute infomercial using Solid Works Animator software. * Created all SolidWorks 3d technical illustrations of exploded-view plumbing diagrams for new European market service and support manuals. * Established 3d database of all existing product engineering specifications as related to potential owners site specific considerations including size, weight, volume, and electrical requirements such as service location and accessibility. * Provide support for manufacturing, marketing, service, customer care, delivery, and sales departments with technical documentation, technical writing, and engineering graphics as well as direct customer interface to resolve technical issues or improve product performance.
