Internal Audit leader with significant strengths in developing annual audit strategy and plan, managing audit projects across multiple business units, presenting of audit results to audit committee and senior management. Experienced in internal, external audit, enterprise risk assessment and operations within semiconductor, education, media, publishing, banking and financial services industries. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, IIA standards, SOX 404, PCAOB, COSO 2013, ERM framework, US and International regulatory environments, including, anti-bribery and FCPA laws. Trusted advisor with success in mitigating risk and recommending strong internal controls, utilizing industry best practices. Performed entity-wide risk assessment based on top-down risk approach and developed annual audit plan and strategy. Managed Internal audit projects with involvement in planning, scoping, fieldwork and reporting stages. Aligned audit objectives and scope of work to strategic business objectives for agile and cost-effective audit approach. Managed annual SOX 404 process in coordination with corporate finance and external auditors. Implemented process changes and enhanced testing and documented process narratives for compliance with COSO 2013 framework and PCAOB guidelines for Internal Controls over Financial Reporting. Performed projects on equipment install and services processes to drive efficiencies and cost reductions. Keep key stakeholders and audit committee abreast of emerging risks and changes in professional practice standards.
