Daily Duties at Gilbane Building Company:

As a Sr. General Superintendent I am responsible for supervising the construction of a large project, developing document and communicate the work plan, managing the project budget for general conditions and site services, resolving jurisdictional disputes, developing and updating project schedule, primary safety representative in the field. As the Sr. Project Manager on the project, I provided leadership in motivating the project team, prepared monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow. I also managed the project using established project controls and procedures and perform pre-construction planning, scheduling and cost control. As the Sr. Project Executive, I maintain overall responsibility on the project. Relying on my outstanding leadership skills, I direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, manage critical issues, assume overall accountability for job site safety and quality. I have maintained customer satisfaction through honesty and exceptional communication skills of all issues good or bad.
