Daily Duties at Ryder Integrated Logistics:
Proactively manage the safety policies and processes for a network of carriers operating within the Ryder LMS network servicing the Oil and Gas Industry. Develop and implement annual HSSE plans to improve LMS Safety performance in the Oil and Gas industry. Completed audits of safety processes and programs for potential carriers ensuring only the most qualified carriers operated in the Ryder LMS network. Provide innovative solutions to the field of Safety performance leading to an increase of operational efficiencies. Develop new and innovative processes for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to senior leadership. Facilitated driver training programs to ensure all in network drivers were set up for success while operating within the LMS network. Instrumental in cultivating manager to driver relationships that led to a substantial increase in the number of reported unsafe acts/conditions by drivers. Conducted and managed multiple weekly meetings to ensure alignment of management and operational goals. Managed root cause investigations and presented investigation results to senior leadership. Develop working business relationships with partners in safety to identify and pursue HSSE opportunities to expand Ryder’s expertise and knowledge in the Oil and Gas Industry.
