Daily Duties at Los Alamos National Laboratory (Lanl):

Acted as the lead S/CI Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Laboratory-related S/CI discoveries, issues, and related activities. Coordinated actions relative to Laboratory S/CI issues and DOE-broadcasted notifications for the Laboratory and subcontractor organizations. Collected, maintained, and disseminated relevant information on S/CI and DOE-broadcasted notifications to Laboratory personnel and subcontractors. Represented the Laboratory in all S/CI Occurrence Report critiques or fact-finding meetings. Participated in selected internal and supplier oversight activities of facilities and processes related to S/CI prevention, detection, and disposition. Tracked all Laboratory S/CI issues and relative S/CI DOE-broadcasted notifications to closure. Reported all Laboratory S/CI discoveries to the DOE/NNSA LASO SCIC, DOE OIG and the Laboratory’s QPA Division Leader. Developed and maintained a database of Laboratory S/CI issues and a record of DOE-broadcasted Data Collection Sheet (DCS) notifications pertaining to S/CI and DI. Performed trend analysis of S/CI issues. Initiated lessons learned reports, as applicable, concerning S/CI issues. Coordinated and trained Laboratory personnel, subcontractors, and material suppliers in S/CI. Completed and coordinated the disposition and disposal, of S/CI or materials. Perform duties of a classroom instructor including development of training plans and curricula.
