Daily Duties at Zurich Financial Services:
• Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution. • Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate infrastructure recommendations and solution direction. • Ensure conformance to best practices. • Create the conceptual, logical and physical design for SharePoint-based solutions • Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems • Worked on creating Dashboards using Performance Point Server, Excel Services, SSRS (RDL reports) and Power Pivot extension for SharePoint • Implemented architecture by building components, POCs, migration strategies • Maintained technical integrity and consistency, documenting all systems • Created and contributed to Architecture Specification Documents (ASDs), Design Documents (HLD & LLD) and Deployment Guides • Collaborated with the creative and technology team members to ensure that business requirements adhere to technical and creative constraints • Enforced project schedules & deadlines, managing resources to keep to schedule • Facilitated technical reviews with client architects and status meetings • Participated in solution definition and presented the current issues, proposed technical solutions • Managed day to day activities of junior team members
