Daily Duties at Microsoft Inc:
• Creation and deployment of VS projects as App model in SP2013. • Implemented SharePoint 2013 features such as App Domain configuration, SharePoint hosted apps and high trust apps using SP App Model and OData using Visual Studio 2013. • Used SharePoint JSOM API to develop many SharePoint hosted Apps. • Developed a PowerShell script that implements CSOM calls to retrieve file metadata from document libraries. • Managing the deployments on farm • Mentor junior developers and team members on Standards and Best Practices. • Used PowerShell to deploy WSP solutions, Custom Service layers, automate deployment of content type hubs, term stores, user profile attributes, configuration and mapping of search properties, lists, sites etc. between different environments. • Worked on customizing the SharePoint 2013 Ribbon using Visual Studio 2013. • Worked on customizing SharePoint 2013 with responsive design using Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript and TypeScript. • Extensively Involved in Installing, Configuring, Maintaining, Monitoring and Supporting SharePoint 2013 in Development, Testing and Production environment. • Worked extensively on deployment automation using PowerShell. • Worked on creating SharePoint Dashboards using Excel Services, SSRS (RDL reports). • Provide L3 level support for deployed applications being a SPOC for business users and content authors. • Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle • Implement architecture by development of components; POCs; migration strategies; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; documenting systems • Created and contributed preparing Architecture Specification Documents (ASDs), Design Documents (HLD & LLD), Deployment Guides. • Collaborated with the creative and technology team members to ensure that business requirements adhere to technical and creative constraints. • Took part in requirements prioritization discussions with client business analysts. • Enforced project schedules & deadlines; managed resources in relation to given schedule. • Facilitated technical reviews with client architects and status meetings. • Participated in solution definition and presented the current issues, proposed technical solutions to the executives.
