Daily Duties at Compucom Systems Inc:

This job number one priority was good service which I believe and received many awards for customer during my time there. Good customer services answer question you don't need to ask. On the support desk, I work with user that had problems getting email, accessing email accounts of other users or just adding the mail accounts to their outlook profiles. Working with office applications and active directory, we were able to due various mail migration that deal with exchange servers 2010 and 2013. In the active directory we could reset password, unlock accounts, create accounts, get access to the user's mailbox, prep up for the migration of mail. We could find a user's account, edited his mailbox rights, and add our account that we log on with to make further adjustments. I not only troubleshoot accounts, I had to manage them day by day to make sure it was completed for the user. User may have request access for certain particular folders, drives or paths that required me to escalate it up. After doing this, I had to follow behind the project to its completion. Not only did I work with the exchange server 2010 and 2013, but we have to get familiar DNS, know the name structure, if necessary create a name, keep it simple to describe what the name was referring. So far I hadn't have to do that, but knowing the protocols 53 for DNS and what level they play in the osi model was very helpful. My experience was only 3 months before the company moved its service to a different country. We communicate with out clients like GE and PSEG by using Microsoft Lync or Skype. One contract I worked on was with the use of chat. This was a very high pressure account. Knowing how the DHCP worked for issue an ip address, how a computer talks to another in requesting mac address that is tied to the IP address, pop3 mail on a forward server, simple mail transfer protocol 25, imap for mail on a remote server, exchange active sync protocol, all of these was just a few things we worked with. The Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover service was my friend when I was lost in helping users of Outlook 2016 for Mac and Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later to configure their Exchange accounts.

What they like about Compucom Systems Inc:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
