Daily Duties at General Mills:

I was promoted twice during my tenure at General Mills, each of my three jobs are listed below. Customer Account Manager I - Unified South • Developed relationships with 11 Buyers, identified opportunities for distribution, and presented solutions to their challenges during weekly meetings with the accounts ($12.9MM in volume) • Leveraged promotions, menu budget, and customer relationships to deliver 3,142 Cereal Special Packs (106% of Goal and +42% vs. previous year) • Utilized sales materials to present new items and key distribution voids in order to gain acceptance of 25+ items between 5 Hispanic Retail accounts – Vallarta, Northgate, Jons, Super A, and Super King • Managed financial tracking – maintained $80K annual menu budget and requested timely invoice payments • Drove 20+ Corporate and Multicultural Events at 5 key Hispanic Retailers with bundled/themed ads and orders Business Category Associate - Walmart • Managed Flour and Batter modular relay process from start to finish – reviewed 40+ manufacturer item recommendations, recommended best items to Buyers, and created 50+ modulars by utilizing ProSpace • Analyzed Retail Link, AC Nielsen, and MicroStrategy Vision Chain sales data and made category recommendations to optimize distribution • Communicated and collaborated with Buyers on a weekly basis to influence category decisions and provided insights regarding transferability and market share fluctuations Business Management Associate - Club Channel • Developed in-depth item level Sam’s Club Box Tops for Education Event sales tracker, provided daily recaps to Sam’s Club leadership during/post the Event, performed detailed post-analysis of the Event, and presented findings to leadership team • Created 7 item sales trackers between Dry and Frozen businesses to monitor daily/weekly sales, determined item performance, and shared key insights with Sam’s Club Buyers • Managed the Soup, Meals, and Dry new item set-up process and ensured all necessary paperwork, Click ‘N Pull, and pricing was submitted to Sam’s Club on a timely basis
