Daily Duties at Pharmavite:

I've been promoted twice during my tenure at Pharmavite. The responsibilities for each of my three positions are listed below. Customer Marketing Manager • Manage over $3MM of Account Specific Marketing funds by working collaboratively with Field Sales and Finance • Present Customer specific Marketing plans during monthly key account meetings at Target and quarterly meetings at Kroger • Execute Customer specific programs for Target, Kroger, and Regional Grocers; analyze and adjust Customer Marketing plans to ensure sales trade and market share objectives are met • Serve as the Customer advocate to key cross-functional partners such as Marketing and as the Brand advocate to the Customer • Supervise one direct employee – actively communicate expectations and provide feedback through performance management process Sr. Shopper Insights Analyst • Managed Shopper research qualitative and quantitative projects from inception to completion by effectively collaborating with Sales, Category Management, and Customer Marketing to determine research objectives • Presented Shopper research findings during key account meetings at Target, Costco, and Wakefern • Analyzed a range of information – qualitative/quantitative research, Kantar ShopperScape, and syndicated data – to gain a deeper understanding of the Shopper which drove insights to present at meetings for our key accounts • Socialized research effectively by leading meetings with key internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Team • Partnered with the Sales organization to provide guidance on shopper motivations, beliefs, and behaviors that helped shape our customer strategies – viewed as the Shopper subject matter expert Marketing Analyst • Partnered with Manager to perform in-depth analysis and create a 69 slide comprehensive Gummies deck that explored Gummies phenomenal growth; presented deck to VP of Marketing and other key stakeholders; results were shared with several cross-functional teams and great feedback was received from Strategy and Marketing teams • Managed day-to-day projects such as Compare Report process and monthly corporate reporting where updated data is analyzed and key category insights are communicated effectively to a broad audience • Created and presented Nitro Tips & Tricks and Business Case Analysis decks that help ABM’s increase their effectiveness in AC Nielsen Nitro and show different analytical resources to use when asked business questions

Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
