Daily Duties at Cognizant Technology Solutions:

 Requirement analysis and preparation of Functional specification document based on the BRD (Business requirement document).  Preparation of technical design documents for various requirements/tasks worked on.  Developed PL/SQL procedures, Functions, Triggers and Packages to implement the changes in different modules.  Did unit testing on my developed model.  Interfacing with the production operations team for production issues.  Coordinating with various teams for Change management.  Helped QA by coordinating with testing activities  Doing impact analysis and risk analysis before approving any change in source DB objects related to the modules worked.  Communicate with clients on complicated issues of the project and resolve the issues within SLA time span and drive SLA adherence within the team.  Responsible for analysis of the issue, creation of Functional Specification Document and Design Documents. After proper unit testing of the code moving the code to Quality and after user acceptance in QA move the code to Production environment. Thus involved in all the stages of SDLC.  Ensure the daily Production Batch Jobs Cycle should get complete successfully and if any job failure occurs, immediately take the corrective actions and ensure that the application should be available within the SLA time span to the business users before their day start.  Ensure error free deliverables by driving adherence to quality assurance norms and guidelines.  Engage in peer reviews during design, coding and testing.  Ensure adherence to quality processes.
