Daily Duties at Motorola Solutions Incorporated:

Oversight of Bangalore development center including the following: o Oversight of all product development and support activities done within the India Development center for both Public Safety and Commercial Carrier PTT product lines. o Determining resource needs (headcount, capital, expense, etc) and work with both US and India business and finance teams to fulfill those needs. Yearly budget is $5M USD. o Set performance expectations and project milestones for the India development center and track progress against the goals and identify and make adjustments as needed. o Work with Information Technology (IT) personnel within Motorola Solutions and third party vendors to make sure the software tools, software applications, and network performance are meeting the remote centers needs. o Member of MSI Software Tools and Strategy team responsible for evaluating and selecting new tools as needed to continually refresh the engineering development environment. o Participate in quarterly business reviews with MSI and third party senior management. o Engage direct reports in performance reviews and career development. o Engineering owner of 30+ different quality and test tools that are used by development and test teams. o Box ownership for multiple network elements within iDEN Network.
