Daily Duties at City Of Houston:
• Charged with the responsibility to maintain scene integrity and safety while working to determine the origin and cause of the reported incident. • Utilized working knowledge of NFPA 921 and O.S.H.A. safety guidelines to ensure that identified safety and risk concerns were mitigated while working to resolve reported incidents according to city guidelines. • Accountable for control and management of incident scenes ensuring a safe work environment, management of personnel, while safeguarding scene integrity and preserve evidence sample(s) • Responsible for conducting thorough investigations while collaborating with outside departments and resources ensuring maximum percentage of incident resolution • Develop relationship with appropriate personnel such as Assistant District Attorney in order to ensure effective case management and reporting • Serve as an industry expert when necessary to address a professional representation of facts and evidence associated with outstanding cases • Responsible for maintaining up to date credentials concerning investigation, construction, safety, risk, and emergency management.
