Usaf, Nellis Afb Work Values

Daily Duties at Usaf, Nellis Afb:

• Crew Chief of a Weapons Load Crew, responsible for the mechanical, electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting of the fighter aircraft including the A-7, A-10, F-4 and F-15. • Member of an Aircraft Operational Test and Evaluation Unit. • Responsible for testing, evaluating, documenting and training, of all new or improved equipment that was provided by defense contractors for the aircraft. No new equipment went on the aircraft without our team thoroughly testing it, documenting procedures and policies pertaining to the equipment. • Received an Outstanding Rating for Performance during an Operation Readiness Inspection. • Worked with representatives from General Dynamics during a Test and Evaluation Operation and developed the missile systems checklists on the A-10 Aircraft for the Laser Pods and Sensors. These checklists were adopted by the US Air Force and General Dynamics.
