Usaf Work Values

Daily Duties at Usaf:

• Calculated the Weight and Balance of the C-130 B, E & H3 model aircraft and its cargo. • Maintained required government documentation from classified materials to foreign and domestic customs requirements. • Qualified in emergency procedures pertaining to the aircraft, airdrops, passengers and crew. • Performed Aero-Medical Evacuations and Troop Deployments worldwide. • Certified Airdrop Inspector - making sure the extraction equipment is configured correctly prior to take-off. • Actively participated in providing relief efforts during multiple natural and man-made disasters. • Developed cooling system for the C-130 observation bubble. • Developed several specialized weight and balance charts used throughout the squadron. • Key team member of an ALCE Unit, (Air Lift Control Element). ALCE provides logistical services for multi-force transportation during troop deployments and training exercises. ALCE team members travel throughout the world to provide these logistical services for the air transport of troops, equipment and supplies. This would involve a variety of Cargo Aircraft. • Aircrew member with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) - this specialized unit works in conjunction with the National Parks & Wildlife and Forestry Departments in fighting forest fires. • Lead person for Aircraft Load Planning of Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI).
