Daily Duties at Rockwell Construction Products:
In charge of all operations and maintenance at a Hard Rock Quarry. Oversaw blast coordinating, crushing, pulverizing, maintenance, purchasing and safety. I was Rockwell's representative dealing with OSHA and MSHA. Started out as shop supervisor/lead mechanic. I was eventually asked to perform all troubleshooting and maintenance with the emphasis on being cost effective with minimal down time. I was given the position of Site Superintendent within 6 months of starting there. As a working Superintendent I was in charge of as many as 15 employees. I have never had a lost time accident or MSHA/OSHA citation. I had monthly budgets that I had to stay within along with Production demands that had to be met.
