Daily Duties at Cvr Energy:
Defined, executed and closed out projects to support refinery operations. Responsible for projects from design, construction, startup and handover to operations. Write and issue project funding requests for management approval, monitor engineering, procurement, and construction progress against established project schedules; attend project meetings, work with operations/project/construction managers to remove barriers, and make pro-active manpower loading decisions; monitor engineering, procurement and construction spending against established project budgets; work with project/construction managers to manage cost changes; develop and track project schedules in MS Project; forecast engineering, construction and development costs on a monthly basis for accounting accruals.
