Daily Duties at Et Software, Inc.:
I started this company because of our success with converting SCI Subs, and eliminating the Service Bureau fees we were paying. I convinced the Board of SCI that I could market the software nationally. I was the administration and sales. I also handled all the accounting using QuickBooks. My partner handled the software support. We both installed and trained. It was a good mix. We were bought out, in 2002. Our business has dropped significantly after 9/11/2001. The police departments changed their focus. No more purchases of $90,000 - $100,000 software. We were down to about six people when Archonix bought us, and three of my competitors. They wanted to merge them on my system. They hired the top people from all four companies. I worked for them for $80,000 per year for two years.
