Daily Duties at Gujarat Gas (British Gas Subsidiary):

This role was part of the wider Global Regulations team entrusted to deal with complex material issues, balance ambiguity and maximise value in uncertain business environments. My Role was to work with the Director - Power & Regulation and Regulation Manager (Emerging markets – UK) to ensure the overall Regulation Functional Strategy addresses all critical regulation risks and opportunities. Moreover, the Govt. established a central regulator for Petroleum and Natural Gas in year 2007. The key deliverables of this position were * Advocacy for framing industry-wide gas regulation * Provide comprehensive research, evaluation & recommendation of economic, regulatory, and industry issues * Preparation & submission of regulatory Tariff filing, Authorisation & Exclusivity applications. * Managing relationship with identified key stakeholders in Government Regulatory Board * Provide key inputs into the annual strategic planning and financial long run planning functions * Prepare the regulatory financial model and results analysis for devising mitigation plans * Devise a cost allocation methodology and determine optimum CoS for business segments * Develop internal company-wide systems and processes to meet regulatory requirements
