Daily Duties at Gpig:
Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing. Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes. Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness Train production personnel in new or existing methods. Coordinated in design and manufacturing of weld's jig and fixture,dies and molds(bending,cutting,drilling) Applied blueprints to effectively instruct welders and shop worker in fabrication techniques Prepared welding procedure qualification, evaluated PQR's and NDE reports, witnessed testing Instructed and interpret parts,assembly,WPS and weld drawings to welders Performed stress reliving heat treatment to reduce and eliminate distortion on welded assembly Planned and established sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization. Performed inspection based on GD&T on drawings and tolerance" on machined parts Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures. Estimated costs, production times, or staffing requirements for new designs.
