Daily Duties at Amec Foster Wheeler:
• Lead a $30 million FEED/Packages for a $400 million EPC Greenfield Onshore Project. • Play key roles in various reviews, including HAZID/Design • Participating in hazard identification Review, SIMOP and SAFOP studies/Constructability/Maintainability Reviews/Project Audit • Managing Contractors scheduling and their activities (Engineering and construction) • Preparation of feasibility study for very early gas production, and its impact on the project • Performing breakeven analysis to the client • Manage project interfaces and all stakeholders • Involved in project estimation, Preparation of Equipment bid packages for Long Lead Items (Very Early Gas production, Metering Skid, Turbine Generator, Fire Water Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps and Flare package) • Carry out/ coordinate Technical Bid Evaluations of bids and submit recommendation to the clients’ Contracts department. • Preparing vendor clarifications ; Squad checking , correspondence with vendors and internal disciplines to resolve all technical issues • Liaise for TPI inspection at various stages, expediting manufacturing / fabrication and tracking delivery. • Liaise with procurement and logistics departmentsto monitor the delivery status of equipment& bulk material arriving at project site. • Liaise with Engineering project managers on timesheet matters, project status, project budgeting matters and project accruals • Carry out/Coordinate performance &Hydrotest test with Client, lead engineers and vendor for the successful completion of FAT for Fire Water & Centrifugal pumps, Ultrasonic & Mass Flow Meters Calibration, Metering Skid etc. at the vendor facility • Key player guiding other members of the project on Operation philosophy and PMS as required. • Review Data acceptance during the performance test for all pumps • Coordinate and issue necessary purchase requisition for procurement equipment to vendors via KEIL • Proactively resolve performance, scope and schedule issues with clients • Preparation of Decision Support Package for 3 Custody Metering Skids (Gas, LPG, and Condensate), Three Gas Turbine Generators and its local equipment Rooms, Two Diesel Generator, Flare package, Fire water Pumps package (3 Diesel pumps, 1 Electrical pump, 2 Jockey Pumps) and Six Centrifugal pumps. • Focal point for all technical communication with the Engineering , Project Engineer Manager and the Suppliers • Editing / writing scope of work as necessary to suite the project • Project review meetings & Minutes of Meeting, Summarize key issues from technical visit and review agreed dates for submission of revised and final responses and follow-up on punch list. • Review & Track vendors’ invoices as per contract payment milestone for settlement, and work closely with commercial manager as required for approval. • Liaise with customers on project billing matters, customer feedbacks on project quality • Support project control team in delivery of projects by Verifying invoices for payment processing • Proactive to ensure Vendors to provide Certificates of Compliance indicating the equipment are built as per International standard as required. • Liaison with construction team to ensure timely handover • Co-ordinate with DCC team for document numbering, IDC checks and document transmittals
