Daily Duties at Onslow United Transit System:
Work with state and county transportation offices to prepare and communicate positions to local professional agencies and communicate these efforts to the Executive Director and Board. Develop and implement the OUTS strategic plan and approve annual budget audit reports. Assisting OUTS and Nominating Committee in recruiting board members. Review outcomes and metrics created by OUTS based on federal and state guidelines for evaluating its impact and regularly measuring its performance and effectiveness. Develop and maintain relationships and communication with funding organizations, partners, and stakeholders and identify possible grant opportunities. Consult with board members on their roles and assist in assessing their performance and preside over board and committee meetings.
