Daily Duties at Rose Medical Center:
Staff RN pree-op /PACU? pain management. Admit all types of adult pts, ortho, plastics, gyn, GI, ENT, breast, bariatrics, etc to PACU. Perfrm recovery room skilled nursing in area and floated to main PACU at times.. Did pain management with sedation, reported to charge nurse and /or anesthsesia important conditions related to pt care. Encourage managing pain control by using pain scale, preventing post op complications by my experienced critical thinking skills. Start IVs, pre-medicated children. Communicate with charge nurse and co workers and encouraged team spirited nurses. Attended staff meetings, floated to anther surgery center to do one pediatric case, volunteered. ,
