Daily Duties at Qualex Photofinishing (Subsidiary Of Eastman Kodak):

Process Improvement Manager: a) identified gaps in Best Practice Metrics, and then work with all levels of the plant in establishing and executing a strategy for improving them; b) assessed the current state of the plant’s operations, and develop future state vision and drive and monitor the implementation plan; c 2) Sr. Quality Assurance Manager: a) developed short-and long term operating objectives, organizational structure and staffing requirements; b) assured that all duties, responsibilities, and authority of each job are identified and programs initiated; c) assured that qualified personnel are selected and that orientation and on-the-job training programs are conducted and effective; d) developed an adequate plan for backup and succession of management and other key personnel;) drove daily calling activities – inbound and outbound calling campaigns driven by customer service 4) On-The-Job Training Supervisor: a) coordinated with the department managers to create and refine training curriculum for all relevant training courses; b) organized, developed or sourced training programs to meet specific training needs; c) assisted the department managers in conducting training needs analysis studies to distinguish “training needs” from other root causes such as system issues, poor documentation records, etc. Investigated are recommended plans for rolling out learning programs to include analysis of required training resources, projected timelines for completions, etc.; d) oversaw the on-the-job-training (OJT) certification programs to assure employees satisfy the training requirements per defined timelines. Facilitates on-the-job and other related learning objectives via the area qualified trainers as required; schedule annual procedure, re-qualification and other training as required. Monitored completion of training and documentations to verify training was performed.
