Daily Duties at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Griffin Services:

• Ensure exceptional performance of assigned maintenance work and repair • Ensure property is effectively utilized prior to processing a requisition for additional property • Ensure subcontractors abide by all programs, contractual and industrial standards/best practices to meet the requirements of the government • Ensure that cost and workload data is current, accurate, complete, and available to authorized government representatives • Establish procedures necessary to assess property management system effectiveness • Maintain 100% financial accuracy, measured by the number of financial transactions posted • Maintain a Secret Clearance • Maintain delivery of high quality work and service • Minimize costs and acquisition lead times by using acquisition methods such as blanket purchase agreements, requirements contracts, credit card orders and similar methods • Submit accurate and complete cost estimates, proposals, and revisions no later than five working days of each Government customer’s request, 100% of the time Supervises: • Supervise exempt, non-exempt personnel, and skilled trade union labor personal Responsibilities • Potable water supply • Waste water treatment facility • Natural gas supply • Electricity • Sewer system • Cable TV • Telephone • Develop and manage an equipment calibration program for all equipment • Develop procedures covering key control • Ensure Government property records provide a complete and current audit trail • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with established processes and procedures • Establish a Property Management System in accordance with the FAR to control, use, preserve, protect, repair, and maintain all government-furnished property to minimize breakdowns and maximize useful life • Establish and maintain an effective, efficient, reliable and timely property management system for acquisition of materials and equipment • Guide workforce optimization of time and material • Managing costs, budgets, and schedules • Prepare for disasters to recover quickly to resume operations • Provide administration of facilities, and property control • Provide energy conservation measures • Provide full lifecycle management program based on reliability-centered maintenance principles, to minimize the cost of maintaining each asset • Provide liquid handling services, which include fuel and collection of oily waste • Provide oversight and guidance on technical matters to the government and the workforce • Provide administration, management, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
