Daily Duties at Pasadena Unified School District:
• Provide ERICS (Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services) therapy to students with duel diagnosis, including, PTSD, ED, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Psychotic Disorder, NOS. • Evaluated individual students and prepared psychological diagnosis, psychological reports (ERICS, initials and tri-annuals) and case summaries and provided interpretations of findings to administrators, parents, teachers, staff and students. • Served on IEP teams in order to make appropriate recommendations regarding continuing placement of students in appropriate classes and programs. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth transitioning of services from outside agencies to school-based department teams. • Supervise MFT interns for Pasadena Unified School District. • Authorized Parent Trainer (trained by Boys Town National Training) providing Common Sense Parenting (CSP) workshops for parents with children with special needs. • Support students, and their families attending public, non-public as well as students residentially placed.
