Daily Duties at U.S. Marshals Service:
This position is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the financial program within the district. Monitors various types of funding such as allotments from different appropriations, transfer of funds from other agencies, reimbursements for services performed, revenue from working capital funds and trust fund accounts. Preparing detailed spreadsheets showing expenditures for the fiscal year. Assists in the formulation and revision of annual budget estimates for the District. Analyzes the effect of projected cost changes. High volume work load covering the main office and two additional sub-offices in a large district.
