Daily Duties at Tagr Trading Company:
I am the owner of the business. I set out a 5 years business plan that I executed on daily. My business activities included: • Analyze the S&P 500 monthly, weekly, and daily charts to determine overall picture of price action and trend. • Analyze “overnight” global (Asian and European) market price action to gauge US market direction at the cash open • Analyze intraday price action and movement to best determine optimal buying and selling strategies and areas. • Identify value areas, pivots, support and resistance. “Frame” the charts as part of my trading strategy. • Remain aware of CPI, PPI, GDP, Fed numbers and announcement and releases. • Collaborate with professional traders to formulate strategies around trade strategies, portfolio and risk management, as well as current market conditions. • Mentor other traders on trading strategies, risk and capital management, and psychological aspects of intraday futures trading. • Studied under the tutelage of experienced market experts for structuring, planning and executing an intraday trading business. • Traveled to various locations around the country to meet and network with other professional traders on all aspects of running a trading business. • Keep daily journal to document trades and identify areas of improvement in trade selection and execution. • Maintain accurate financial and tax records. • Select and procure hardware, software and technical manuals for trading. • Participate in online webinars and courses to further trading knowledge and gaining an edge in the markets.
