Successfully led the structuring, underwriting, approval processes, negotiation of complex project finance and structured credit facilities and project documentation across energy and infrastructure assets (thermal power generation, utility scale renewables, midstream and upstream O&G, and mining) domestically and abroad and across various debt products • Underwrote and closed $3.5B (3x evaluated) individual transactions; executed on and contributed to the underwriting of energy project finance loan portfolio acquisitions of 1.0B+ ($2B bid) precipitated by 2008 global financial crises. • Led strategic growth efforts for affiliate businesses e.g. evaluated deeply discounted energy, senior secured credits and DIP opportunities in collaboration with GECC’s distressed lending LOB; successfully structured $200MM mandated lead arranged credit facilities enabling pull-through of GE micro-LNG plants to HNW-backed client in long-haul trucking industry; underwrote several key hydro assets contributing to the purchase of $440MM minority equity interest in a renewables growth platform with EGPNA; underwrote and closed $300MM mandated lead arranged credit facility used to build latest generation hull design (cylindrically shaped) for FPSO deployed to UK North Sea. • Streamlined LOB investment guidelines improving effectiveness and efficiency in underwriting. • Managed team of Vice Presidents and junior professionals; trained and mentored junior talent.
