Worked on two contracts for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services: Part D Plan (a $3-million-dollar contract) and Enrollment and Payment Training contract. Tasks included developing training programs and materials and conducting training for health providers overseeing health plans and prescription drug plans to help providers submit more accurate data and receive more timely payments. Served as Deputy Project Director and Team Lead on varying assignments and projects introducing private insurers to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ systems and processes through training and teleconferences. Translated complex Medicare legislature into usable information, resources, and job aids to ensure key stakeholders (the staff of Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans, and third party submitters) successfully implemented the Medicare Prescription Drug benefit. Developed training project plans and timelines; supervised online registration activities; conducted program evaluations and prepared evaluation reports; and prepared and submitted operational reports to management. Coordinated and facilitated weekly phone conferences; created and distributed weekly meeting agendas. Supervised onsite training events. Active member of the company’s internal ISO 9001 team.
