Daily Duties at Molycorp Minerals:

As General Foreman oversaw the Safety, Productivity and Development of the Mill Pad Operations Group consisting of a staff of sixteen including an Assistant General Foreman, ten Shift Supervisors and two Engineers and eighty Process Operators (Union-USW). Directed/advised Operations Teams in making smart, accurate and timely decisions in Milling/Flotation, Paste Tailings, Leaching, Caustic Cracking and Solvent Extraction units. Managed performance of salary and hourly production team members (hiring, coaching, discipline). Accurately compiled data (downtime and recovery reports) for report up in daily and weekly Ops Meetings to upper management and to Board of Directors. Monitored monthly spending and Plant Maintenance costs, developed budgets.
