Daily Duties at Dsm/Martek:

• Facilitated sales process and productivity within assigned geographical territory • Directed all sales and customer service aspects in all 75 accounts across United States and Canada • Conducted monthly forecasts and tracked sales to ensure budgeted goals were achieved • Successfully negotiated annual contracts with key accounts, reported directly to Vice President • Managed distributor sales force on new products and sales strategies (6 direct reports) • Handled all customer relationship management aspects across different functional departments and across all hierarchy levels • Sold value added ingredients such as Life’s DHA, FruitFlow, Fabuless & PeptoPro etc. • Provided customer follow-up and ensured customer retention • Worked cross functionally with marketing, product development and R&D to ensure successful product launches • Forecasted sales revenue, volumes, and growth
