Daily Duties at Highland Hospital:

Led Vascular Access team, including all consultations, insertions, training, and care and maintenance of devices, with a focus on PICCs.  Performed routine infection control surveillance, including surgical sites, with the objective of reducing healthcare-acquired infections, and conducted disease outbreak investigations, as well as implemented controls.  Upon identification of CRBSI, performed root cause analysis and provided recommendations for solutions.  Developed, reviewed, and revised policies and procedures for hospital, ensuring compliance with all regulations.  Implemented educational programs in the areas of vascular access and infection control for all levels of personnel
