Daily Duties at Lincare Home Infusion:

 Provide Basic and Comprehensive IV Classes, In-service Education Offerings, and Skills Refresher workshops to facilities and/or community based organizations  Provide placement of PICC/Midline and peripheral IV access to all care settings  Coordinate discharges or transitions to alternate care settings for patients with infusion or enteral nutrition needs.  Review patient’s medical record to obtain supporting documentation for insurance reimbursement/coverage.  Chart reviews for supporting documentation to determine appropriate service requirements related to medication/enteral nutrition administration/nursing, at time of discharge.  Act as a liaison between hospital, care setting, patient, and vendor/service provider for safe, cost effective, appropriate services.  Development of complete infusion education program for skilled nursing and long term care facilities  Policy, procedure, and guidelines revision of infusion and vascular access device management for nursing.  Development of patient education tools for infusion, vascular access device care, and enteral nutrition administration in the home.
