Daily Duties at Nerd.Com:
Lead HR/Recruiting Teams in mass-collegiate talent search targeting the smartest technical and business talent available from the Nation’s top 50 colleges and universities. In addition, oversee the companies diverse HR & Recruiting Teams, perks/benefit plans, incentives, employee relations, dispute resolution, events, and other miscellaneous projects as they arise. Start-UP means to wear “many” hats and keeping my hands busy with the day-to-day business needs. Titles don’t mean much; we all work for the common goal of a better, more profitable company as a whole! Partner with business and functional HR leaders across the company in order to develop and lead an effective People strategy to ensure the delivery of first-class operational HR services and innovative organizational development solutions. Identify and deploy impactful people strategies and policies that enable the organization to perform effectively, and scale efficiently as it experiences both growth and shrinkage Lead the execution of the Company’s people practices in including talent assessment and planning, organization design and development, performance management, and culture development, and contribute as a global HR partner to the ongoing development of these practices Provide direct support and coaching to the Executive team, and work closely with each member and their respective functional teams to ensure they receive effective information and advice on issues relating to people and the development of their organization
