Daily Duties at Kuehne + Nagel North America:
Network Administrator-Create\delete NT user accounts, home folders and specify permissions. Perform password resets. Create\delete mailboxes for new employees using Microsoft Exchange Administrator. Designed a Help Desk web site using Microsoft Front Page. Receive incoming reports of technical difficulties from company and customer locations such as Sun Microsystems, Astra Zenneca and Northern Telephone via e-mail, voicemail, Intranet & telephone. Document problems reported in Remedy. Remote Administration- Resolve desktop software issues (MS Office\Win9x, NT etc.) via PC Anywhere\VNC software for remote access. Analyze and isolate the cause of problems, create appropriate fixes supporting users remotely. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning PC’s returned from field locations. Add users to network printers/copiers using HP Jet Direct Software, and ACITSLPR remote printing software. Ghosted, configured and test new PC’s for roll out to field locations. On-Call rotation for monitoring support calls on weekends and off hours; provided on call Remote Technical support cellular and laptop.
