Oversaw the design and implementation of a broad range of health and welfare benefits for this medical device manufacturer of 800 U.S. employees. Managed annual volume of $800M in employee benefits. Partnered with VP, HR and broker on strategic benefits planning/analysis, including competitive plan design and cost containment. Managed relationships with benefits administrator, insurance companies, brokers, consultants, and legal counsel. Oversaw annual enrollment and ensured on-line enrollments proceeded seamlessly. Served as 401(k) plan administrator for a plan size of $72M. Ensured all benefits plans were compliant with federal and state regulations, including but not limited to ACA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and USERRA.
