Daily Duties at Renewable Biofuels, Inc.:
As the site's Sr. Processing Engineer l was charged with managing on-going upgrades to reduce production down-time, increase production output and increase profits. Engineering evaluations were on-going to support cost effective operations. As the plant had been build and rebuilt several times one of the first duties was to develop accurate Process and Instrument Drawings (P&ID's) from the 3,500 assorted drawings they had on file. In addition while drawing the P&IDs I was required to identify and resolve flow restrictions, so the plant's production rate could be increased and cheaper feed oils could be processed.
