Daily Duties at Ch2 M Hill:
Led Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program for Afghanistan Logistics Civilian, as well as directing Augmentation Program (LOGCAP IV) for services and support provided to US and Allied Military Managed resource allocation for $20M budget, implemented organizational structure within department, and oversaw operations of 50 Forward Operation Bases. Drove quality, safety, and environmental initiatives for new construction within Afghanistan and Kuwait. Directed services provided by LOGCAP IV program (HVAC, Power Generation, Electrical, Plumbing, DFAC, MWR, Laundry, NTV, Maintenance, Property, Movement Control, and Construction). Managed and launched Quality Project resulting in $37M award fee, re-defined quality standards enterprise-wide, and implemented Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Training Program. Improved system to tracking quality cost and implemented improvement plan decreasing quality cost 70%. Led obtainment of ISO9000. Implemented inspection test plans, construction quality procedures and policies documentation, and communicated directly with client in support of Program Manager. Established and maintained all aspects of approved LOGCAP IV Quality Control Plan, developed extensive knowledge of contractual requirements in preparation and execution of audits including utilizing ability to create and interpret over 50 technical documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statement of Work (SOW), and Army and Government Regulations. Developed Quality Program reducing CARs, decreased Corrective Action Report from 100 to 9 in six month generating $20M award fee. Implemented training program for QA/QC Techs and Quality Engineers and oversaw full development of staff including determining best methods for performance enhancement. Established quality control standards ensuring consistency and benchmarking.
