Daily Duties at Genesee & Wyoming:

 Oversaw the operations of the rail yard and assigning duties to workers including pulling and placing of cars, switching inbound and outbound traffic, reviewing train schedules, moving cars, performing inspections and making repairs.  Assured all cargo and railcars safely arrived at intended destinations in a timely fashion.  Resolved train issues or rail problems by planning alternate routes as necessary.  Increased transparency for all crews (mainline and yard), maintaining current general orders before duty, updating on changes and gaining signatures for safety bulletins and APBs.
