Daily Duties at Alfaro & Vazquez Law Offices, Llc:

• Participate in over fifty (50) trials, including jury trials, mostly as first chair litigant; • Personally handle and oversee litigation matters in all firm cases from inception to resolution; • Lead counsel in over 1000 cases throughout career, including vast experience in pre-litigation resolution; • Vast experience in handling judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings, collections, bankruptcy, and consumer collection laws such as TILA/Reg. Z, RESPA/Reg. X, FDCPA, ECOA and FRCA and management of various financial institutions day to day bank law issues and compliance implementation; • Vast experience in labor and employment law cases, including fair employment, wage and hour, discrimination and health and safety claims, ERISA and management of client’s day to day employment issues and situations; • Vast experience handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases; • Lead counsel with vast experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex commercial, settlement and collective bargaining agreements; • Supervise and lead all phases of litigation including research, investigation, discovery proceedings, document review, privilege logs, strategy and defense preparation, depositions, motion and trial preparation and management; • Supervise approximately 10 staff members including recruiting, hiring, monitoring, training, evaluating, scheduling and determining workload; • Balance and integrate both aspects of law and business in firm.
