Daily Duties at Caterpillar Inc.:
Led site selection for the facilities in both Mexico and China, and then sourced/negotiated design build contracts, developed schedules, managed budgets and change order process, and procured corporate branded assets such as diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, and UPS systems for use in new and existing facilities worldwide. Provided electrical engineering consulting and project management for improvement projects as a contracted support to Caterpillar, managing 15 building maintenance staff. Implemented building maintenance work management processes for two client facilities that totaled more than 1.5 million sq. ft. of Class A office space. Defined and deployed electrical safety procedures to support campus electrical infrastructure with a 47MVA load.
