Daily Duties at Tq3 Navigant (Now Carlson Wagonlit Travel):
Promoted to lead the accounting systems migration projects, manage accounting procedures and schedules. Back office systems conversions to centralized systems implementation and reporting system migration to Hyperion. Project managed the implementation of customized accounting and reporting initiatives for client solutions. Supervised accounting teams, conducting annual performance reviews and hiring all department employees. Recovered over $600K in past due receivables, using collection letters and extended payment status follow-ups. Responsible for business and software requirements, for multiple system conversions. Established and maintained excellent business relationships directly with clients to support credit card reconciliation, accounting, and corporate reporting needs. Supervised ARC department focused on business stability with adherence to airline reporting requirements. On-boarded and trained 25 employees through ongoing corporate mergers and acquisitions. Turned around underperforming department plagued with missed deadlines and debit memo backlogs, implementing reorganization and documenting new standards and procedures. Debit Memo Implementations - responsibilities included the design of a tracking system credited with a significant reduction in debit memos, enterprise-wide implementation to attain analysis, cost avoidance, awareness, training, dispute, and charge improvements resulting in savings of over $1M.
