Daily Duties at Bellevue Pharmacy:
Set up 6-10 daily calls and 2-3 lunches a week depending on geography, distance of travel, agenda and call plan. Instructed providers and staff (total office call) on how to fill out prescriptions to minimize call backs from pharmacy to office, how to send off prescriptions, how to communicate to patient when pharmacy will call and what to expect. Also integrated and instructed on implementation of other services such as genetic and toxicology testing, when appropriate, to improve patient compliance and clinical outcomes. I review non filled prescriptions being held up in the system because of wrong phone numbers, wrong patient information, and insurance coverage issues. I handle all office requests within HIPAA guidelines and provide services that maintain and influence customer relations.
