Daily Duties at Orleans Homebuilders, Inc.:

• Manage, coordinate and direct the Company’s accounting operations. • Develop, lead and directly manage supervisors and staff in various functions such as reporting, accounts payable, general ledger accounting and cost accounting at locations across various Divisions. • Provide direction and support for the accounting team during month end close • Preparation of the monthly financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes in accordance with GAAP • Plan, organize and personally perform varied, complex and specialized professional accounting, auditing and cost accounting which involves the application of advanced principles and practices • Development and implementation of new accounting and cost accounting policies and procedures • Research accounting guidance and implement policies for new transactions the company may enter into • Responsible for working directly with the external auditors on all audit functions • Performs high and low level analytical review of financial statements • Presentation of analytical review and other performance metrics to senior level management on a regular basis with proposals to department heads to enhance performance • Assist with the preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors • Assist with the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for multiple Divisions. • Worked closely with Land teams to manage existing land acquisition (option) contracts as well as managing site improvement/capital spends. • Develop and monitor weekly cash flow projections and utilize projections to manage the business (borrowings, payables, land purchases)
