Daily Duties at Orleans Homebuilders, Inc. :

• Manage, coordinate and direct the Company’s accounting operations. • Develop, lead and directly manage supervisors and staff in various functions such as reporting, accounts payable, general ledger accounting and cost accounting at locations across various Divisions. • Provide direction and support for the accounting team during month end close • Preparation of the monthly financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes in accordance with GAAP • Plan, organize and personally perform varied, complex and specialized professional accounting, auditing and cost accounting which involves the application of advanced principles and practices • Development and implementation of new accounting and cost accounting policies and procedures • Assist with SEC compliance including providing support and review for 10Q’s, 10K’s and other required filings • Research accounting guidance and implement policies for new transactions the company may enter into • Develop, evaluate, monitor and enhance the control environment to ensure SOX compliance, including process improvement and control remediation • Responsible for working directly with the internal and external auditors on all audit functions • Performs high and low level analytical review of financial statements • Assist with the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for multiple Divisions.
