Daily Duties at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals:

Provides initial education, treatment and access support of each HoFH patient for flawless transition to the COMPASS care team while expediting patient access to care through addressing knowledge gaps in disease as well as through provision of ongoing drug and disease awareness while on treatment.  Ensures excellent communication between sales, customer care teams and external physicians and health care providers. Identifies and executes educational opportunities with area physicians and healthcare providers.  Maintains consistent communication with physicians’ offices as well as across all business teams during the patient’s treatment decision and onboarding process; actively reaches out to health care providers to ensure all patient needs are met and appropriate support is being given on an individualized basis.  Works collaboratively with the sales team to provide clinical support through attending conferences, trade shows, including ongoing inservicing and education to patients and healthcare providers on disease/ product information and case management services.
